Indian author and computer engineer Anay Agarwal, born in the holy city of Allahabad, moved from his degrees in computer engineering to the world of finance, a field he elected to pursue with a degree from IIM Indore, subsequently employed by important large companies in India. He lives in Mumbai at present but has also lived in Delhi, Mumbai, Sultanpur, and Kakinada.As is often the case with debut novels from Indian authors Anay writes with that flavor of india in his work – the English at times becomes entertainingly naïve and fresh – a quality that most assuredly adds to the charm of this book.

The pleasure of this story is that it reads like a personal memoir, and while the characters my vary form his own experiences, the quality of the story sounds very familiar to a writer of Anay’s extensive background achievements! Grady Harp, April 16

I wish I had read this book during my time as a B-school grad back in India. The writer paints a very realistic and relatable coming of age story that I am sure many of us experienced transitioning from the dream academic environment to the corporate world.
